just a quick question. whenver i see concerts in europe it is common for people to bring a flag of the country they represent to the show. I am considering brining and americna flag to the show, and "show it" to the band, ill stick it up for a few seconds, and that is it. I don't want to look like an asshole from the USA, or want to piss someone off for blocking even MORE of someone's view.

any advice.

I don´t think anyone would mind if you quickly wave american flag in front row. I´d do the same in another country (No... not with American flag but finnish :D )

I really don't think that is going to be a problem at all! Like asa here said, i would do that too! but for example in Germany people could be waving all kinds of flags and they had nothing to do with the countries they were actually from. So I guess it' a bit of a cultural difference thing :)

Even if someone don´t like you waving american flag, I don´t think they have the guts to confront you about it :D

It´ll be easy to spot you from the audience, I think I´ll come and say hello when I see someone who´s 210 cm tall.

Great you have the ticket, and don't worry about the flag, i'm sure that everybody understands that you're there to listen ja enjoy Iron Maiden and not to be an "American Asshole". It's great to have some international audience to Heavy Metal Capital!

If I remember right, on Dod-tour in Helsinki all kinds of flags were forbidden. I mean those flags which were in long sticks or something... :?

yeah. i think so too... (didn't see any flags though) but let's hope that next time flags aren't a forbidden item. if so, Il'l bring a huge flag that says: HARITTU. THE F*CKING METAL CAPITAL OF TURKU!

(harittu is a city part, here in turku...of course, i live there.)
