^And why is that? I just don´t understand every f*cking comment about Teräsbetoni, that they are just a band of one Cd or that they can´t play. Of course they can. It´s just the lyrics that make it sound funny and the voice of the vocalist in some parts. But the vocalist can sing, that´s for sure!
Please, foreigners, do listen it and tell us did you like it and why or why not!

It's just the funyy lyrics I likemiinus wrote:^And why is that? I just don´t understand every f*cking comment about Teräsbetoni, that they are just a band of one Cd or that they can´t play. Im Back in Black!!
I was like "WTF?" when I saw this in the Teräsbetoni's homepage:
05.09.2005 Wacken - Germany Wacken Open Air Festival
I guess they can success in outside Finland after all! A future cult-band maybe?
Germans are surely crazy people. But don't get me wrong, Teräsbetoni is great band! They just sold gold with their debut album and the hit single "Taivas Lyö Tulta" sold gold too! Manowar-stylish metal must be very popular by now!
Little translation for you...
Teräsbetoni = Ferro-Concrete OR Reinforced Concrete OR SteelConcrete
Their album and the song on it:
The Metal Truth (or The Truth Of Metal )
1. Steel Concrete
2. Dont' Tell Us
3. Metalheart
4. To The Underworld (or To The Hell...)
5. Invincible
6. Female Slave
7. Eye For An Eye
8. Shadow Of Steel
9. Sky Strikes Fire
10. Strong As Metal
11. The Metal Truth
12. Raise Your Glasses
Sounds like Manowar, huh?

I'd suggest you go and chek out a record-store called "Keltainen Jäänsärkijä" near of centrum. It's next to rock-club Tavastia, so it should be easy to locate.MaidenOZ wrote:Just a quick question for you guys.....
Does anyone know where I can find a CD for Finnish bands....Agonizer and Caldwell?
I have a friend back home in Australia who wants me to get them for her, but we can't seem to find any....
Thank you if you can help
Adress is: Urho Kekkosenkatu 4-6.
Here's a shitty map: http://www.kolumbus.fi/levykauppa/kart1.JPG
I'm leaving my house now and head for the Hartwall Arena, UP THE IRONS!
BTW, remember to buy some great finnish metal to yourself too
Machine Men would be good!

^^Love that Record shop it's awesome.... we managed to score a picture disk of Black Sabbath's first album which a few people back home will absolutely CREAM themselves over.
And Black Sabbath's - Past Lives CD to make them jealous as well. There is a lot of good music over here which is just so hard to find in Australia. So we've spent up BIG
Well we will certainly be going home with a lot more metal in our suitcase after this holiday that's for sure.
So far we've bought;
Sonata Artica
Children of Bodom x 2
Stratovarius
Apocalyptica
Machine Men
Agonizer
Fintroll
and of course.... Finland's own Manowar.....Teräsbetoni That, we're giving to a friend back home as a souveneir on the condition that he burns a copy on his computer for us as well.

Great selections! Remeber to give us large reviews of those (and maybe the upcoming finnish metal) albums!
Also, we would like to hear a review of your trip to Finland as soon as you get home

Probably the best finnish hard rock band with Lordi. Taage Laiho is a great singer.IronPain wrote:Has everybody forget "Kilpi"

The best heavy metal band is certainly Tarot.

Absolutely. And because Tarot's lyrics are in English, foreigners can get more from it than, for example, from Kotiteollisuus or Kilpi or other bands which make their songs in Finnish. Tarot is a way too underestimated, it's a pity.Hammer wrote:The best heavy metal band is certainly Tarot.

Sorry, but I think the correct expression would be underRATED.The_Air_Raid_Siren wrote:Tarot is a way too underestimated, it's a pity.

Errr...they don't. To underestimate is closer to a measurement, i.e "we have underestimated the power of the enemy", whereas "to underrate" is closer to not enough appreciate something.Sugar Daddy wrote:They both mean the same.
